Important Update Regarding Sherline Products

We would like to share an encouraging development regarding the future of Sherline Products.
We are currently in discussions with an American manufacturer regarding the potential purchase of Sherline’s intellectual property and remaining inventory. The goal of this proposed acquisition is to preserve and revitalize the Sherline brand while providing continued availability of replacement parts, accessories, and machines for our valued customers.
As these discussions progress, we have agreed to temporarily suspend accepting new orders, effective October 19, 2026. This will allow us to preserve our remaining inventory while negotiations are underway.
Although no final agreement has been reached, we are hopeful that this opportunity will provide a positive path forward for the Sherline name and the customers who have trusted our products for more than five decades.
We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued loyalty during this transition. We will share additional information as soon as it becomes available.
Our greatest hope is that the Sherline legacy of quality, precision, and American craftsmanship will continue for generations to come.

Both sides are smooth for holding finished parts with minimal marking. Easily reversible in the top jaw (includes 2 inserts and 8 screws). -
Talon Grip Vise Jaw Inserts:
Double-sided serrated inserts for aggressive holding of raw stock. The serrated edge enhances grip strength (includes 2 inserts and 2 screws). -
MB Versagrip Vise Jaws & Inserts:
Serrated on both sides for secure gripping of raw or irregular material. Compatible only with the Versagrip jaws (includes 4 inserts and 4 screws). -
MB Hard Stop:
Designed to fit in the fixed jaw insert slot and used alongside the Talon Grip Inserts for repeatable part positioning. -
Jaw inserts are sold separately. The Standard MB Vise Fixture Base Plates are required to mount any jaw inserts.

Although the serrated inserts are intended for raw stock, they may be used on finished surfaces if light clamping pressure is applied and only light machining or engraving is performed.
Sherline MB Vise Fixture
The Sherline MB Vise Fixture is designed to locate directly in the T-slots of our mill tables and tooling plates. By aligning the fixed and movable jaws in the T-slots, your mill table or tooling plate becomes the base for the fixture - maximizing usable table length. This setup allows you to securely hold and machine much larger or irregularly shaped parts than traditional vises can accommodate.
Workholding Versatility
The MB Vise Fixture supports a wide range of part shapes through the use of two different sets of interchangeable top jaws:

Use the MB Versagrip Top Jaws, which fit the same fixed and movable base plates. These jaws accept the MB Versagrip Vise Jaw Inserts by Mitee-Bite. The ¾" round inserts can be rotated within any insert pocket to match and grip a wide variety of part geometries securely.
