Important Update Regarding Sherline Products

We would like to share an encouraging development regarding the future of Sherline Products.
We are currently in discussions with an American manufacturer regarding the potential purchase of Sherline’s intellectual property and remaining inventory. The goal of this proposed acquisition is to preserve and revitalize the Sherline brand while providing continued availability of replacement parts, accessories, and machines for our valued customers.
As these discussions progress, we have agreed to temporarily suspend accepting new orders, effective October 19, 2026. This will allow us to preserve our remaining inventory while negotiations are underway.
Although no final agreement has been reached, we are hopeful that this opportunity will provide a positive path forward for the Sherline name and the customers who have trusted our products for more than five decades.
We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued loyalty during this transition. We will share additional information as soon as it becomes available.
Our greatest hope is that the Sherline legacy of quality, precision, and American craftsmanship will continue for generations to come.

15″ Extended Mill Column Bed

Product Description

The standard mill column bed is 11″ long and has about 6″ of travel. This extended mill column bed is 15″ long, adding 4″ to the travel for a total of over 10″. If you need more height due to drilling or boring deep holes or working with tall setups, here is a way to do it without adding riser blocks. The column is available in three versions: standard, CNC, and CNC w/nickel Teflon coating. The CNC versions are a few dollars more due to the extra drilled and tapped holes for the stepper motor mount and the addition of the nickel Teflong coating.

You can order it as an option on a new mill or as an updated replacement for your current Sherline mill. You will also need to purchase the appropriate leadscrew. Use the dropdown menu above to select your column bed options.
