Hardware Requirements & Integration

• What You Need to Supply (PDF)
The Signal Isolator Board enables Acorn to send voltage commands to the Sherline speed control based on programmed spindle RPM. It’s required when using Sherline’s Speed Control and delivers up to 10VDC.

Network & System Behavior
No. Each Acorn controller uses a fixed IP address (10.168.41.1) and requires a dedicated port. Dual-port PCs may use one for Acorn and the other for internet access.
