10″ XY Base w/ Adjustable “Zero” Handwheels
Product Description
If you already own a vertical milling column for use with your lathe, but feel a sturdier base with a larger work area would be to your advantage, you may purchase the base of any of our vertical mills as an XY base. Your older vertical milling column can be returned to the factory to be re-machined and used with an XY base rather than purchasing the entire vertical milling machine. (Call for price.) Vertical milling columns made after 1995 do not need to be modified. This combination saves you the amount of money included in the cost of the vertical mill for the column but gives you the same machine less headstock and motor/speed control. XY bases have also found their way into the industrial market and are used in various manufacturing setups. Each of the three mills is available as an XY base.
The Mill XY base is the same base used in our 5500-series mill. It has a 10″ base with adjustable “zero” handwheels.

Shipping
We do not charge a flat rate for shipping because of the variations in weight for our products. Instead, we charge you what the shipping company charges us. Our website uses a shipping calculator based on the daily rates for USPS and UPS based on the weight and destination of the shipment. You can also have us use your UPS/FedEx account number to charge your shipping. Just enter it in the appropriate box on the checkout page.
Domestic orders are shipped Monday – Friday. Expedited orders must be placed by 9 am PST to ship the same day.
Orders shipping ground have a processing time of 7 working days for domestic orders and 14 working days for international orders. CLICK HERE for more information on our shipping and order policies.
Returns

The MASSO G3 CNC controller, power supply, stepper motors, cable system and optical encoder are sold as a part of our Accu-Pro line of machines and are not available for purchase separately or as an upgrade option to existing machines.
