5/8″ Rear Side Multi-Tool Holder

The rear side, multi-tool holder was designed to complement our four position, gang-tooling tool posts. It can be used in conjunction with the gang-tooling tool post, or on its own for our customers who want to convert their Sherline lathe into a “Chucker Lathe” or gang-tooling lathe.

The rear-mount tool holder is slightly taller than its front side counterpart, P/N 5937, allowing the tool to be mounted upside down and used on the backside of the crosslide. The round holes are for holding ER16 collet holders with a 5/8″ shank.

Our rear side, multi-tool holder offers a convenient and accurate way to hold up to two ER16 collet holders with a 5/8″ shank with a known center-line-to-center-line distance of 1.500″, and a slot to hold 3/8″ square carbide tool holders on the “back” side of the part for turning, grooving, or threading tools.

We also offer a rear side, multi-tool holder for customers who want to use 3/8″ round boring tools.
